About the job:
The (Sr.) Director Quality is responsible to enable Nexperia’s strong product portfolio expansion into new markets and technologies for high-voltage products. The Business Group focus is new product introduction for Gallium Nitride (GaN), Silicon Carbide (SiC), IGBT and Power Modules.
This is your new job:
- Member of Business Group and Nexperia quality management team
- Support the Nexperia product roadmap by flawless product qualification. Create and execute qualification programs using industry standards and customer requirements for fast market introduction of emerging technologies. Approve project releases for development and industrialization projects.
- Lead the global Business Group quality department (staff, organization, processes, laboratory)
- Building a global base for product qualification capability and resources, with internal and external partners
- Take critical business decisions e.g. customer information, alerts and qualification strategy together with the management team.
- Drive market oriented product quality performance improvements together with Nexperia manufacturing organization and external partners.
- Improve procedures and add new methods to reduce systematic issues and to increase efficiency of the organization
- Represents product quality at Nexperia’s customers
This is you:
- Master’s degree in an engineering field
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Quality Management
- Background in electronics, with understanding of semiconductor technologies and manufacturing
- Proven track record of leading international teams
- Experience in product qualification processes for emerging semiconductor markets in automotive and non-automotive
- High engagement on achieving targets and objectives of the position
- Pragmatic and solution-driven leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels
- High energy and drive with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken), with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel (~15%)
