The R&D Project Manager (m/f/d) will support our Research and Development of our Business Unit Catalysts at Heufeld (Germany) and will lead R&D development programs which focus on sustainable catalytic solutions for different Oxidation applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects for development of new and innovative catalysts.
• Prepare and test respective catalysts in different scales - from lab to pilot.
• Support recipe scale up and product transfer from R&D to production.
• Leading a team of laboratory assistants and technicians - definition of operational tasks and setting priorities.
• Technical support to our production and sales teams.
• Ensure documentation of results and communication to relevant stakeholders.
• Cooperate with diversified interdisciplinary, global teams as well as engineering and academic partners.

Requirements

• PhD in Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Technical Chemistry or equivalent.
• Knowledge in oxidation catalysis, catalyst preparation (inorganic solid state chemistry), characterization, and performance testing.
• Knowledge in kinetic performance testing and reactor modeling.
• Experience in the multi-method approach of heterogenous catalyst characterization.
• Trained in statistical and chemometric data evaluation and modeling.
• High engagement, decisiveness, and trustworthiness.
• Creativity, team spirit, and flexibility.
• Structured approach and organizational skills.
• English fluent, German advantageous.
