To achieve
these ambitious projects, we want to strengthen our project Satellite
Communications Team with an internationally experienced Project Manager who has
the dedication and creativity to make our ambitions a reality.
Your tasks
- Independent management and implementation of international projects in our field of activities
- As a project manager, you are the central point of contact for customers, but also for the internal OHB team which will include members of different departments
- Manage the project entirely through all phases, from project acquisition to close-out
- Coordinate the internal OHB DC project team involved, which can include departments such as engineering, production, project controlling, procurement, logistics, product assurance and documentation management
- Provide necessary guidance and direction to accomplish and adhere to the project’s agreed schedule, quality, and budget
Your Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience as a project manager or technical lead engineer in the field of satellite communications
- Master's degree or equivalent in engineering and management (specifically in mechanical, electrical, industrial, aerospace engineering, or similar)
- Multidisciplinary systems knowledge and a strong desire to learn more about our various field of activities of mechanical, electrical, radiofrequency, fluid, and software engineering
- Analytical thinking, creativity, and strong organizational skills
- Leadership experience combined with a high social competence, great communication skills and a team player
- Familiarity with publicly funded international projects such as the European Commission, ESA, NATO, ideally with regards to requirements, documentation, communication, interface management, safety processes, and testing
